Senior Data Engineer

Duration: 12 months (Potential Extension OR FTE Conversion)

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and tune Oracle databases supporting critical applications.
• Perform database performance tuning, backups, recovery, patching, and upgrades.
• Develop and optimize enterprise data warehouses across Oracle and Snowflake.
• Build and maintain Informatica ETL processes and scalable data pipelines.
• Support Oracle Analytics Server reporting environments.
• Develop Python and SQL solutions for data integration, transformation, and automation.
• Implement data quality, security, governance, and monitoring practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of data engineering and database administration experience.
• Strong Oracle Database expertise; Application DBA experience is required.
• Strong Informatica ETL development experience.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Oracle Analytics Server.
• Proficiency in Python and advanced SQL.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• MongoDB or other NoSQL database experience.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, DevOps, and CI/CD.
• Experience with OLTP systems.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and data quality frameworks.
