Supporting daily laboratory operations remotely, the full-time Senior Cytogenetics Technologist will perform high-quality FISH analysis, conduct technical reviews, and coordinate workflow while ensuring excellence in quality and turnaround time. Key responsibilities Determine specimen acceptability for testing based on established criteria Perform routine and complex technical procedures following departmental Standard Operating Procedures Monitor and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation to ensure proper functionality Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology 4 years or more of clinical laboratory testing experience Understanding of laboratory operations, policies, and procedures Ability to work independently and within a team environment Proficient with computers and familiarity with laboratory information systems
