To support a growing laboratory team, the full-time Senior Cytogenetics Technologist will perform and oversee cytogenetic testing, ensure specimen acceptability, and troubleshoot instrumentation while working remotely. Key responsibilities Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria Perform routine and complex technical procedures in accordance with departmental Standard Operating Procedures Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation to ensure proper functionality Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology 4 years or more of cytogenetics testing experience Understanding of laboratory operations and applicable policies and procedures Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Proficient with computers and familiar with laboratory information systems
