Senior Cybersecurity Consultant

To support a growing Cybersecurity Professional Services practice, the remote Senior Cybersecurity Consultant will serve as a trusted advisor to client leadership, providing guidance on governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), and leading client engagements focused on security assessments and compliance readiness against various frameworks. Key responsibilities Lead client engagements involving gap assessments, control implementation support, and compliance readiness for frameworks such as NIST and CMMC Develop and present assessment findings, risk register updates, and remediation roadmaps to client stakeholders Mentor junior consultants and contribute to business development and proposal efforts as the practice expands Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Assurance and Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or advisory services Extensive knowledge of GRC frameworks and experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) regulations Experience supporting CMMC readiness or ISO management system implementation One or more relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or a CMMC certification
