Job Overview
Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full‑time Cyber Software Engineer to support USSTRATCOM software teams. The engineer will help create modern web‑based Java mission systems, review code for secure coding best practices, configure cyber tooling in DevSecOps pipelines, and coordinate with government cybersecurity stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver secure solutions.
- Review code and enforce secure coding best practices.
- Configure cyber tooling embedded in pipelines.
- Coordinate with government cybersecurity stakeholders.
- Design new secure patterns and act as an advocate for cybersecurity.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to review code for secure coding best practices.
- Experience using Cyber DAST/SAST tooling.
- Experience developing in Java or TypeScript.
- Experience tracking security compliance.
Desired Skills
- OIDC/OAuth/SSO/RBAC experience.
- CISSP certification.
- Experience integrating cyber tooling into CI/CD and IDE environments.
- Microservice architecture experience.
- RMF/STIG experience.
- Engineering experience with AFNWC SMPES, MPAS, or NPES systems.
Requirements
- Must be a US citizen.
- Position requires a government security clearance – clearance level: Top Secret.

- Onsite, full‑time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
