Whether you will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, at CMC, you'll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.What You'll DoAssess credit limits for new and existing customers and jobs, producing recommendations after thorough analysis of a variety of factorsAnalyze customers' financial information, including income statements, cash flow history, current debt, balance sheets and credit reportsResponsible for providing assessment of profitability of default by a customer and determining risk of extending secure and unsecure creditFunction as a coach to less experienced team members on transactions and accountsResearch public records, such as county register's databases, Secretary of State Database, and assessors database, for corporate and UCC filingsOn construction projects, ensure CMC is in position to be secured via lien or bondInterface with internal and external customers regarding changes in credit eligibility and limitsMaintain and improve compliance with the Credit and Collection policy to ensure systematic follow-up and review as per standardsDevelop and maintain relations with key internal and external customers and other principal industry suppliersMiscellaneous projects as requestedWhat You'll Need7+ years of credit review and approval experience in construction or manufacturing environmentKnowledge of construction mechanic lien and bondsExtensive experience in analyzing financial statementsExtensive experience Interpreting Consumer and Commercial Credit reportsStrong computer skills including excel/word/Microsoft office with experience managing credit in SAP or other related ERP systemAbility to work independently and with a team, detail oriented, interpersonal and negotiation skills and customer relations abilitiesStrong analytical and statistical skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills, including telephone skills to relate to multiple stakeholdersAvailable for travel up to 10% of the timeYour EducationBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related fieldHigh School Diploma or GED requiredWe are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry.
