Senior Credentialing SpecialistThis is a remote position. We are in search of a Senior Credentialing Specialist who will be responsible for all aspects of credentialing, re-credentialing, and privileging processes for health/medical providers hired by KurzSolutions or its clients for Military Treatment Facilities, VA Medical Centers, and Indian Health Service hospitals, clinics, or related facilities or organizations in accordance with the timeline requirements of KurzSolutions.Responsibilities:Compiles and maintains current accurate credentialing data for all providersCompletes provider credentialing and re-credentialing applications; monitors files and follow-up as needed with a high degree of accuracyMaintains knowledge of current credentialing requirements for all KS clients including DoD, VA, IHS, and treatment facilitiesSets up and maintains provider information in online credentialing databases up to date at all timesTracks license and certification expirations, CEU credits, DEA, and other renewals for all employed providersCompletes primary source verifications of all certifications, licenses, education, professional members, etc...Completes Criminal History Background Checks for all providersInitiates and monitors the security clearance process including providing eApp assistance as necessaryOther Responsibilities:Maintains confidentially of provider information in accordance with HIPPA requirementsMaintains a daily record of credentialing progress for team member accessQualifications:Associate Degree minimum, Bachelor's degree preferredAt least five years' experience in the federal space including DoD and VA credentialingCPCS Certification desiredRelationships:Reports directly to the Chief Administrative Officer of KurzSolutionsWorks as a member of the KurzSolutions team in a collaborative mannerKurzSolutions is committed to improving health outcomes by providing well-managed companies with the top healthcare talent in the market.
