Senior Cost Accountant

To support cost management and financial analysis in the automotive manufacturing industry, the full-time temporary Senior Cost Accountant will manage routine cost accounting activities, support month-end closing processes, and lead automation initiatives remotely. Key responsibilities Manage routine cost accounting activities, including inventory-related processes for accuracy and efficiency Support the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Lead efforts to improve team-wide efficiency through process redesign and automation initiatives Required qualifications Proven experience in process improvement and automation, with skills in PowerBI, Macros, or Python Knowledge of cost and management accounting principles and SAP systems Ability to elicit requirements through interviews and implement solutions hands-on Experience in automotive manufacturing or related industries is a plus Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate across teams effectively
