Senior Corporate FP & A Analyst

Exempt - FT Professional Office, Lakewood, CO, US

Salary Range: $130,000.00 To $135,000.00 Annually

Position Summary

The Senior, Corporate FP&A Analyst plays a critical role in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis. This position partners with business leaders across the global enterprise to provide actionable financial insights, support strategic decision-making, and drive operational and financial performance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Manage enterprise financial planning system and maintain monthly activities.
  • Prepare monthly management and operations reporting packages.
  • Improve financial planning processes and reporting automation.
  • Analyze financial and operational results, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Partner with department leaders to evaluate spending, headcount, and capital allocation.
  • Monitor cost trends and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Develop operational KPIs and management dashboards.
  • Support capital project reporting and cost tracking.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
  • Assist with scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and business case evaluations.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 7-10+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, operational accounting, cost accounting, or financial analysis experience.
  • Experience with ERP systems and planning tools.
  • Workday Adaptive Planning experience.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, CFA, or CPA.
  • Mining, energy, rare earth elements, metals making, magnet making, manufacturing, industrial, or field operations experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, financial software, and business intelligence applications.
  • Proficient or Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and financial models.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business priorities and evolving organizational needs.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate with team members across departments and around the global business.

Physical and Sensory Demands

  • Primarily office-based work involves prolonged periods of sitting, computer use, and telephone communication.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Requires visual acuity sufficiently to analyze data, review detailed reports, and prepare presentations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, virtually, and in group presentation settings.

Compensation Transparency

Salary Range: $130,000 – 135,000 annually.

The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offered to the successful candidate will be based on experience, qualifications, and/or education. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history, by law, Energy Fuels will not ask for information about salary history, nor should candidates share that information with the company.

This role may be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program and long-term incentive program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.

This position is based out of Energy Fuels Lakewood location and is expected to be in the office most of the week. We offer a 9/80 schedule, along with a remote work Tuesday, for most of our exempt positions. The successful candidate will work out the details of their schedule with their manager.
