An established and growing organization is seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Accountant to join its accounting department of 6–7 team members.

About the Role

The role reports directly to the Financial Controller and indirectly to the Group CFO, with responsibility for managing a team and overseeing consolidated financial reporting for approximately 35–38 entities across multiple currencies. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor two direct reports while collaborating with additional team members.
  • Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including monthly closes, journal entries, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
  • Manage the corporate consolidation process, ensuring accurate intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
  • Gather, analyze, and consolidate financial data from multiple international subsidiaries.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages, including KPIs, footnotes, and supporting documentation.
  • Provide training and support to junior accounting staff.
  • Communicate effectively with foreign subsidiaries in English, navigating language barriers with patience and professionalism.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and consultants to meet U.S. and international compliance requirements.
  • Handle multiple ongoing projects while maintaining ownership of recurring accounting responsibilities.
  • Assist with special financial analyses and projects outside of core accounting tasks.
  • Adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining high performance and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Proficiency in multinational and multi-currency accounting, intercompany transactions, and corporate consolidation.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing corporate financial statements and management reports.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with diverse systems, datasets, and ERP software.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent English communication skills and the ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Workday and QuickBooks Platinum is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Pay range and compensation package

  • Salary range: $80,000 – $85,000+ (flexible for highly qualified candidates)
  • Discretionary bonus: typically 10%–15%, based on company performance
  • 3 weeks of paid time off (PTO)
  • Hybrid schedule: ability to work remotely with 1–2 days per week in the Fort Lauderdale office or as needed for key meetings
