Carolina PRG is partnering with a, billion-dollar publicly traded company seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing accounting team. This position will support the monthly close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and ongoing process improvements within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close schedules.
- Assist with consolidated financial statements and management reporting.
- Analyze account activity and investigate financial variances.
- Support external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
- Help improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with business leaders and other departments on accounting-related matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Three or more years of relevant accounting experience.
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and the month-end close process.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems. xhqgsiq
