Senior Conveyance Technical Director

Location: Overland Park, KS; Houston, TX; Dallas, TX; Creve Coeur, MO.

About the Role

The overall position objective is to contribute to significant new business growth and provide technical support for conveyance projects nationwide. This includes strengthening existing client relationships, developing new ones, and supporting pursuit and capture plans for key opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain visibility in the external market with clients and partners and serve as an internal champion for Conveyance with Regional Managing Directors, Sub-Region Directors, Client Directors, Project Managers, and Business Solution Leads.
• Communicate and coordinate regularly with other Business Leaders and support the development of conveyance programs based on thought leadership and innovation that address project and program drivers based on anticipated client needs.
• Build strong client relationships with both internal and external clients. Lead or support conveyance program opportunity identification, development of pursuit and capture plans, strategy development, and pre-positioning.
• Identify and develop resources that support the execution of Conveyance projects, targeting hires who can be mentored and developed into the next generation of linear infrastructure leaders.
• Be available as a Technical Reviewer or key QAQC resource to support execution of active conveyance work.
• Increase marketplace visibility by leading and assisting Client Directors with participation in national and regional conferences, committees, community and civic associations, and other activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or Business.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulatory requirements.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 11 years related work experience.
• Ability to complete required pre-employment onboarding requirements, including criminal/civil background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle records search.
• Active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements for projects in applicable countries.

Work Environment / Physical Demands

• Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based on manager discretion, job performance, and work assignments.
• May be subject to extreme cold (temperatures below 30 degrees for periods of more than one hour), extreme heat (temperatures above 90 degrees for periods of more than one hour), and hazards such as electrical currents and working on scaffolds.
