Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to support custom automation projects involving PLC/HMI programming, controls software development, machine commissioning, and customer support.
Must-Have Skills
PLC/HMI programming
Beckhoff experience strongly preferred
Rockwell/Allen-Bradley with Structured Text or C# considered
Cognex vision systems is a plus
Custom automation experience
Controls software development and debugging
Electrical/control panel understanding
Robot programming, VFDs and servo applications
Device communication networks such as Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, PROFIBUS
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Travel / Schedule
Based in Nashville, TN
40–50 hrs/week during design
50–60 hrs/week during commissioning
Design-to-commissioning timeline: approximately 16–18 weeks
Installation in Baja, Mexico
6–8 weeks onsite in Mexico per rotation
Valid U.S. passport required
Willingness to travel and work onsite 5 days/week required
