Senior Controls Engineer

Job Summary

Controls Engineer needed for a client located in Northern Kentucky, just south of downtown Cincinnati. Looking for someone who has a background in custom automation machinery, someone who is hands on with PLCs and someone who has experience with injection molding. Salary for this role will be based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and documents PLC software logic for automation projects.
• Installation and troubleshooting of Kuka, Fanuc, Yaskawa, or other robot cells.
• Troubleshoot Siemens, Allen Bradley, or other PLC's as necessary.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics to repair/troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Knowledge of high voltage systems and distribution.
• Proficient in controls and user interface software (FactoryTalk View ME/SE, RSLogix, RSLogix 5000, Panelview, and others)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software product (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Autocad
• Maintain all internal documentation and reports, as assigned by management.
• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering
• Willing to travel up to 45% to customer sites
