We are seeking a talented, experienced Senior Contracts Specialist to help define the future of lunar surface mobility in a fast-paced startup environment.Take the Next Leap with Lunar Outpost and work on the Pegasus LTV, which will carry NASA astronauts farther than they've ever been before on the lunar surface!Key Responsibilities:Draft, review, and maintain contractual documentationAssist with contract negotiations with suppliers, subcontractors, customers, and government entitiesReview contract terms and conditions to identify risks and escalate issuesSupport coordination of contract implementation between the company and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to contractual obligationsMaintain contract records and documentation to ensure accuracy and complianceSupport contract administration activities across internal departmentsAssist with government compliance requirements, including documentation and reportingRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field4+ years of experience in contract administration or a related role, preferably in aerospace or a technology startup environmentWorking knowledge of contract law principles, including contract interpretation and implementationStrong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to collaborate cross-functionally and support negotiation effortsU.S. PersonsPreferred Qualifications:Experience supporting contracts with the U.S. governmentExperience working in the space industry or with NASA or DoD contracts, including familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and NASA FAR Supplement (NFS)Experience in aerospace, space, or other regulated industriesProfessional certification (e.g., CPCM) or progress toward certificationExposure to intellectual property considerations or licensing agreementsExperience supporting international or cross-border contractsCompensation & Benefits: Compensation level and base salary are competitively structured and thoughtfully determined based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, and the scope of the role.Comprehensive health coverage: Medical, dental, and vision benefits, with 70% of premiums covered by the employerPaid time off: Three (3) weeks per year of vacationRetirement plan: Up to 4% employer match on 401(k) contributionsPaid holidays: 11 company-recognized holidaysParental leaveEducational reimbursement opportunities to support company objectives, continued learning, and career developmentLunar Outpost Inc.
