Since 2015, we have supported over 1,000 companies that have collectively raised more than $5B in funding, while also partnering with hundreds of corporate, government, and university clients.As Senior Contracts Administrator, you will be the organization's expert in contracts administration, independently managing the full contract lifecycle across FedTech's portfolio - negotiating agreements, managing subcontractor and prime relationships, and ensuring compliance across federal contracts, grants, and commercial agreements. You will be the subject matter expert in contracts administration, reducing risk while improving consistency and efficiency. This is a highly independent role partnering closely with Finance, Program Ops, Growth, project teams, leadership, and external stakeholders.Typical functions include:Independently lead terms, conditions, and risk negotiations across federal, grant, and commercial contracts/agreements, partnering with delivery, BD, and other teams to facilitate alignment, including management of subcontract relationships under primes (flow-downs, NDAs, and teaming agreements, etc)Manage the subcontract agreement process and relationships independently (drafting through closeout), ensuring subcontractor compliance and reporting standards, with support from Program OpsAdminister contracts across multiple types (Firm-Fixed-Price, Time & Materials, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee) and vehicles (GSA Schedules, BPAs, and IDIQs), plus other vehicles such as federal grants, cooperative agreements, and commercial agreements for corporate and university clientsReview RFPs, RFIs, and proposal materials to ensure contractual and compliance alignment prior to submissionEnsure adherence to FAR, DFARS, and applicable regulations (CMMC familiarity a plus), proactively identifying and resolving compliance gapsIndependently manage contract records in FedTech's ERP system (Unanet), ensuring enterprise compliance with federal and state registrations, insurance requirements, novations, and transitionsPartner with Finance and Program Ops on contract setup, invoicing alignment, and closeout; coordinate with contracting officers, external legal counsel, and internal teams on compliance and contracting implicationsLead specialized contracts-related projects (i.e., compliance audits, template development, vendor negotiations, regulatory updates) as priorities shiftSuccessful candidates will have the following qualifications:Required :7+ years in contracts administration or a closely related GovCon function, with demonstrated expertise in executing the full contract lifecycle independentlyDirect, hands-on negotiation experience on federal prime contractsSubcontract management experience, including drafting, negotiating, and administering subcontract agreementsRecognized as a subject matter expert in FAR, DFARS, and federal contracting compliance; ability to serve as authoritative advisor to senior leadership and internal stakeholdersHands-on experience across multiple contract types (Firm-Fixed-Price, Time & Materials, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee) and federal vehicles such as GSA Schedules, BPAs, and IDIQsHands-on experience setting up and maintaining contracts in an ERP system (Unanet, Deltek Costpoint, or comparable GovCon ERP)Preferred:Experience administering federal grants or cooperative agreements (e.g., NSF)Commercial or non-federal contracting experience (strongly preferred)Experience in a small or mid-size organization as the primary contracts authority, owning the full contract lifecycle across federal and commercial workNCMA or similar certificationOur Values:Boldness: We have the fortitude to forge new paths and push beyond our comfortUnity: We treat our clients, team members and partners as we would like to be treated - we are one united teamIntrospection: We recognize introspection is the necessary ingredient in which self-improvement flourishesLeadership: We embrace servant leadership - putting the interests of client, team partners and partners firstDecisiveness: We have a strong bias towards actionCompensation:Base salary range: $112-130kThe salary range listed for this position is based on market data and internal compensation structure.
The final compensation package will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and education.
