SENIOR CONSULTANT – TECHNOLOGY TRANSFORMATION
Hackett’s Technology Transformation practice helps CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and other technology leaders modernize their organizations and deliver measurable business value. We partner with clients to define technology strategy, operating models, governance, sourcing strategies, change programs, capability roadmaps, and business engagement models that enable sustainable transformation.
We are seeking a U.S.-based Senior Consultant to support Technology Transformation client engagements across North America and global markets. In this role, you will lead workstreams, manage client-facing deliverables, analyze complex business and technology issues, and help develop practical recommendations that improve performance, reduce cost, and accelerate transformation.
What You’ll Do
- Lead client workstreams and deliver high-quality work products on time and within budget
- Analyze data, processes, operating models, and technology capabilities to identify performance improvement opportunities
- Structure complex problems, develop insights, and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations
- Conduct client interviews and working sessions to understand business needs, pain points, and transformation priorities
- Develop executive-ready presentations, data visualizations, roadmaps, business cases, and implementation plans
- Support implementation activities, change initiatives, and ongoing client relationship management
- Coach and supervise junior team members while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing consulting team

What You’ll Bring
- 3–7 years of experience in strategy, technology transformation, management consulting, or IT leadership roles with demonstrated career progression
- Experience supporting assessments, business analysis, problem framing, solution design, initiative prioritization, roadmap development, or transformation implementation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and synthesis skills, including the ability to turn data into insights and recommendations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, data modeling, and data visualization tools
- Working knowledge of AI architecture and enabling technologies, including data platforms, cloud services, AI/ML, Generative AI, model orchestration, and MLOps/LLMOps concepts
- Experience identifying, assessing, and prioritizing AI and automation use cases based on business value, data readiness, feasibility, risk, and implementation complexity
- Understanding of responsible AI, data governance, privacy, security, model risk, and compliance considerations for enterprise AI adoption
- Ability to translate business requirements into AI-enabled solution concepts, high-level designs, roadmaps, and implementation plans for client stakeholders
- Understanding of business strategy, technology operations, and transformation levers across one or more target industries
- Ability to work independently, collaborate across teams, and manage multiple priorities in a client-service environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience developing client-ready deliverables
- MBA or relevant advanced degree in business, engineering, technology, or a related field preferred
Location and Travel
- U.S.-based candidates preferred; role may be remote or office-based depending on client, practice, and business needs
- Willingness to travel domestically as needed for client engagements, practice meetings, and team collaboration
