Location
Irving, US. Reports to company headquarters in Irving, TX. Requires travelling across the United States and may involve working at client sites or remote/telecommuting.
Responsibilities
- Design and review DevOps (CI/CT) pipelines using Behavior‑Driven Development (BDD) and Test‑Driven Development (TDD) techniques.
- Use automation to accelerate pipeline process, scale environments, run reliable tests, and monitor pipelines.
- Conduct feasibility analysis of cloud solutions (AWS, GCP) to identify the best fit for client systems and applications.
- Apply DevOps best practices (automated acceptance testing, version control, continuous feedback) to streamline Agile SDLC and STLC.
- Create automation scripts for REST‑API testing with Postman.
- Build data‑driven SOAP‑UI projects and test Web services/XML/SOAP and RESTful services with SoapUI.
- Write and execute SQL queries for functional test data maintenance.
- Virtualise and test various SOA‑based services, including Web Services and REST Services.
- Create virtual service images (VSIs) using WSDL, recording request‑response pairs to fulfil service‑virtualisation requirements.
- Participate in Agile planning meetings, daily stand‑ups, grooming sessions, sprint test design, execution, defect management, and sprint/system demos.
- Analyse business requirements and design test strategy, test plans, estimates, scenarios, and test cases.
- Prepare requirement traceability matrices to ensure comprehensive test design coverage.
- Execute functional test runs and produce reporting.
- Report, track, and coordinate defects with developers, product owners, and project teams.
- May be assigned to industry groups such as Retail & Logistics, Automotive, Banking & Finance, Healthcare, Insurance, and Information Technology.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related field.
- Three (3) years of related IT experience, including experience with Agile methodologies, test and defect management tools, Agile management tools, cloud computing services, Postman, SoapUI, GitLab, Azure DevOps, SQL, and functional testing of offline products.
- Alternate qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related field with five (5) years of related IT experience.
