We're a well-established general contractor that has been building across North Texas and Houston for over 45 years. Our portfolio includes K12 schools, commercial, industrial, and mission critical projects. We're growing our scheduling function and looking for someone to own it.

Job Details

• Build complete CPM schedules from construction documents with minimal input from project teams
• Develop preliminary and conceptual schedules from schematic designs and early-stage information
• Manage multiple active project schedules at the same time
• Review schedules built by others for logic, sequencing, and critical path accuracy
• Spot schedule risks early and develop recovery and mitigation plans
• Evaluate delays, owner changes, weather, and procurement impacts, then communicate them to project teams and leadership

Requirements

• 10 or more years of commercial construction experience with substantial field operations exposure
• Superintendent experience strongly preferred
• 7 or more years building and managing CPM schedules
• Expert level Microsoft Project skills
• Deep understanding of logic ties, float management, and critical path methodology
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and contract documents
• Experience leading, mentoring, or reviewing the work of other schedulers or project controls staff
• OSHA 30 required
• PSP, PMI-SP, or CCM certification a plus
• K12, commercial, industrial, or mission critical experience preferred
