Conduit AssemblerThe purpose of a Conduit Assembler is to install electrical systems in the Power Control Room (PCR) and to ensure the PCR is shipped and delivered on time.Essential ResponsibilitiesPerforms standard conduit bends and offsetsProperly installs conduit & devices (interior & exterior)Accurately lays out, modifies, & installs wireway/cable tray per designProperly installs lighting, pipe lighting, & fixtures (interior & exterior)Demonstrates knowledge of conduit types, sizes, & fittingsProperly & safely uses & maintains tools (band saw, threader, knockout)Reads & uses tape measure/other measuring toolsDemonstrates ability to work from standard conduit scheduleWiring (i.e. anchoring, tie-wrapping, routing, flagging, and wire tagging)CrimpingWire/Cable strippingAdhere to all manufacturing policies and practicesEnsure quality by following standard work/process instructions and identifying any potential risks to product qualityEnsure that work areas remain clean and well organizedMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or General Education Equivalent CertificateSuccessful candidate will typically have a minimum of 1 year of relevant wiring experience in a manufacturing environment.Must have previous conduit experience with both thick and thin wall conduit.Must have a basic command of the English language, both written and verbal Must have basic mathematical skills (i.e. fractions, conversions)Skills, Abilities & Other RequirementsBasic mechanical knowledgeMust be familiar with common and job specific toolsMust be able to read a tape measureMust be able to read and interpret prints (e.g.
