To drive the next generation of GPU systems programming, the full-time Senior Compiler Engineer will develop Rust-to-GPU compiler pipelines, build compiler IRs and optimizers, and support complex optimization workflows in a remote or onsite environment. Key responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain custom compiler backends and Rust-native intermediate representation frameworks for high-performance CUDA compilation Work with modern compiler architectures to optimize Rust AST and MIR into GPU-specific IRs, including MLIR and PTX Architect compiler-enforced safety models to ensure memory safety and prevent data races during asynchronous GPU execution Required qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience 5+ years of relevant experience in compiler development, language design, or GPU code generation Deep expertise in the Rust programming language and strong understanding of compiler internals Hands-on experience with compiler infrastructures and intermediate representations such as LLVM IR or MLIR Solid understanding of parallel programming models and GPU architectures, including CUDA programming
