This established Chicago business law firm has a sophisticated commercial real estate practice representing developers, investors, owners, financial institutions, landlords and tenants. The team handles a broad range of matters including acquisitions & dispositions, development, financing, joint ventures, commercial leasing, land use/zoning and complex development projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney coming from a larger firm who wants more autonomy, direct client relationships, business-development opportunities and long-term growth, while maintaining access to sophisticated transactions and institutional clients.

Job Details

• 7+ years of sophisticated commercial real estate transactional experience
• Strong experience independently managing transactions and client relationships
• Illinois Bar admission
• Ability to draft, negotiate and close complex real estate transactions
• Experience in one or more areas such as acquisitions/dispositions, development, finance, leasing, land use or construction
• Strong business judgment and ability to work directly with sophisticated clients
• Portable business is welcome but not required
• Open to both senior associate/counsel-level attorneys and established partners
