Providing production support for the web front end of the ETS application, the full-time remote Senior COBOL Programmer Analyst will lead the design, programming, testing, and implementation of complex computing applications while ensuring system functionality and performance. Key responsibilities: Translate business requirements into developer specifications and lead the design and documentation of applications Write and compile complex COBOL code and modify existing applications to enhance functionality Identify and resolve complex programming issues while recommending system improvements Required qualifications: 5+ years of experience in software development, system analysis, and design 5+ years of experience with COBOL and IBM mainframe systems, including Job Control Language (JCL) 5+ years of experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and object-oriented programming 5+ years of experience with relational databases such as SQL-Server, Oracle, or Teradata 5+ years of experience with web technologies including HTML, Java, XML, and ASP.NET
