Get s#it done.This position requires an Active US Top Secret security clearance, and the ability to upgrade to TS/SCI Special Access Program accessWhat You Will Be DoingBuild offense-grade software that operates in denied, constrained, and adversarial environmentsDesign, implement, and debug custom CNO capabilities across userland, kernel, and network layersTear down, modernize, and re-engineer legacy and acquired tooling for performance, stealth, and maintainabilityDevelop software that runs where defenders don't want it (Windows, Linux/Unix, embedded, mobile, and network devices)Perform deep binary analysis and reverse engineering across architectures and calling conventionsOwn and evolve reproducible build systems, toolchains, and test harnessesWork close to the metal: compilers, loaders, memory, execution flow, and runtime behaviorTravel as determined by the customerWhat You Have DoneSignificant experience programming in C and PythonDirect experience developing CNO or exploit capabilitiesEmbedded or firmware development experience on resource-constrained systemsExperience developing in one (1) or more of the following: Windows applications using Visual Studio or.NET environmentsUNIX applications using make files or comparable build environmentsFamiliarity with software version control tools (e.g., Git, Subversion, or CVS)Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, or Bamboo)Experience using software debugging/troubleshooting tools and techniquesSoftware Analysis/Reverse Engineering experienceComfort writing assembly or mixed C/ASM when the problem demands itExcellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to effectively interact with customersEven BetterMentored and coached other engineers or fulfilled the role of Tech LeadExperience working across OSI layers, including packet-level analysis and manipulationAt RII, we believe that diversity in our workforce is critical to our success.
