Senior CNC Programmer

We are looking for an experienced Senior CNC Programmer to support CNC programming, machining operations, and day-to-day production activities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Mastercam, SolidWorks, CNC milling, lathes, and mill-turn machines , along with the ability to read technical drawings and help lead the team.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and improve CNC programs for 4- and 5-axis machines, CNC lathes, and mill-turn equipment.
• Use Mastercam and SolidWorks for CNC programming and design.
• Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine tooling, feeds, speeds, and machine requirements.
• Select appropriate cutters, tooling, and fixtures.
• Prepare setup instructions, tooling information, and other production documentation.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and machining issues to improve efficiency and quality.
• Work with production and other teams to make program changes and resolve issues.
• Help guide team members and promote safe and efficient work practices.
• Maintain accurate CNC data and documentation.
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of machining experience.
• 5+ years of CAD/CAM experience , preferably with Mastercam and SolidWorks.
• Strong CNC programming experience with milling, lathes, and/or mill-turn machines.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications.
• Knowledge of standard and metric measurements and measuring tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good computer skills and ability to work with CNC machine data.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and perform physical tasks required in a manufacturing environment.
