This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a precision manufacturing environment and is comfortable working closely with machinists, engineers, and production teams to ensure efficient, high-quality output.You will be accountable for:Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam for vertical and horizontal milling machinesInterpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications to create accurate toolpathsSelect appropriate tooling, cutting strategies, and machining parameters to maximize efficiency and qualitySet up and prove out new programs on the shop floor, troubleshooting and refining as neededCollaborate with machinists and engineers to improve processes, reduce cycle times, and maintain tight tolerancesMaintain organized documentation for programs, setups, and revisionsEnsure compliance with quality standards and safety protocolsSupport continuous improvement initiatives within the machining departmentPerform other duties as needed and assignedYou are the right person for this job if you have:Required Qualifications:3+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environmentAdvanced proficiency with Mastercam (multi-axis experience preferred)Strong understanding of machining processes for both vertical and horizontal millingAbility to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and CAD modelsExperience selecting tooling and developing efficient machining strategiesStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Mazak Smooth ControlFamiliarity with Mazak Palletech systemsWorking knowledge of Fanuc controlsExperience with high-mix, low-volume or production environmentsExposure to automation and palletized machining systemsThis position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
