Our world-class team includes experts in all aspects of spacecraft subsystems design, development, and test, on-orbit operations, and safety.We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior CNC Machinist to join our Production team. The Senior CNC Machinist will play a key role in the development and manufacture of flight and ground support hardware.Responsibilities:Analyzing specification charts, samples and drawings to gain a thorough understanding of requirements and GD&T.Work with Engineers to communicate needs, manufacturability and timeline.Developing a plan of action to manufacture parts according to specifications.Create and maintain programs using CAM softwarePrepare and mark raw materials needed to manufacture partsSetting up equipment required to complete each step of the manufacturing planOperating equipment to carry out each step correctlyMonitoring the production process and intervening when problems ariseInspecting finished parts for flaws and defectsMaintaining equipment located throughout the machine shopRequirements:High School diploma or GED requiredDemonstrated oral and written communication skillsMinimum 5+ years' experience programming simultaneous multi-axis CNC.Proficiency with component design and assembly management using 3D CAD software, such as Solidworks, CREO, and Fusion 360.Familiarity with commonly used aerospace and commercial specifications for materials, processes, fasteners, mechanical components, etc.Clear understanding of G and M code.Knowledge of how-to setup and operate multi-axis mill with a high level of familiarity simultaneous and 3D machining.Analytical and problem-solving skills to develop effective manufacturing plans based on specifications and drawings.Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and adjust during the manufacturing process.Ability to move roughly 50 to 75 pounds and remain at your workstation throughout the day.Understanding of health and safety regulations to reduce the risk of workplace accidentsExperience with Microsoft Office suite.Effective verbal and written communicationAbility to work in a collaborative team environmentExcellent organizational skillsCreative approach to problem solvingEmbraces Intuitive Machines core values: Respect, Integrity, Dedication, and ExcellenceAbility and willingness to work under compressed and aggressive delivery schedulesTeamwork - Eager and able to work in a collaborative and cross-disciplinary fashion in a fast-paced, dynamic and deadline-oriented environmentPreferred Requirements:Experience with Haas, Okuma OSP, Siemens, Heidenhain controls.Experience with the automated loading and unloading of parts using pallet changers, robotic arms, etc.Experience with additive manufacturing and EDM.Experience with Zeiss CMM.Proficiency with ASME Y14.5 geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).Familiarity with standard practices for fabricating and manufacturing any number of parts from a variety of materials including but not limited to Aluminum, Titanium, High nickel alloys and Carbon Fiber.US EEO StatementIntuitive Machines is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
