Senior CNC Machinist, 2nd Shift

Senior MachinistBeehive Industries is searching for a qualified candidate to fill an open position for a Senior Machinist. This role is intended for an experienced machinist who can independently set up and operate CNC equipment to machine precision components from billet and metal 3D printed materials. The ideal candidate is a self-driven professional with strong technical expertise, capable of executing complex machining work with limited supervision while contributing to continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.What You'll Do...Independently setup and run 3-axis and 5-axis CNC vertical machining centers and CMM equipmentDevelop and optimize machining fixtures for complex aerospace componentsSupport quoting of machining work for internal and external customersMaintain accurate and detailed production records, setup sheets, and machining documentationEnsure work area cleanliness and organization in alignment with 5S standardsIdentify opportunities to improve machining processes, efficiency, and qualityPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on shop equipment as neededIdentify EH&S hazards, risks, and controls within machine shop operations and ensure proper mitigationEnsure full compliance with EHS, quality systems, and manufacturing standardsSelect and allocate tooling for machining jobs and ensure readiness for productionCollaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve machining and production issuesYou have...EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent experienceFormal technical or trade training in machining or manufacturing preferredExperience5 or more years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience independently setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machinesExperience with blueprint reading, GD&T, and dimensional inspection techniquesExperience machining complex components such as castings, forgings, or additive (3D printed) parts preferredSkills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of CNC machining principles and manufacturing processesAbility to independently read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirementsProficiency with machining measurement tools and inspection methodsStrong attention to detail with a focus on precision, quality, and repeatabilityEffective problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machining issues independentlyStrong communication and teamwork skills in a production environmentAbility to work safely and follow established procedures with minimal oversightAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing settingThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S.
