To support critical public-sector initiatives, the remote Senior Cloud Network Engineer will design, implement, and manage cloud-based networking solutions while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance software engineering processes. Key responsibilities: Design and manage cloud network architectures, ensuring integration with existing systems Mentor junior engineers and lead small project teams to foster skill development and collaboration Diagnose and resolve technical issues, utilizing incidents for system improvements and educational opportunities Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of engineering experience, with relevant experience substituting for education Expert-level knowledge in at least one technical area, such as frontend, backend, or infrastructure engineering Proficiency in major cloud service providers, preferably AWS and Azure Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and routing protocols Professional certification in cloud networking or related fields (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNA)
