We're seeking a Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer to join our growing team.

This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who has spent years supporting traditional Microsoft infrastructure and has successfully evolved into modern cloud technologies. You'll work directly with customers, lead infrastructure initiatives, resolve complex technical issues, and help design secure, scalable environments that support mission-critical operations.

Success in this role requires strong technical depth, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to ownership, documentation, and customer service.

• Design, deploy, and support enterprise workloads in Microsoft Azure using infrastructure-as-code, including Azure Policy, diagnostics and Log Analytics, and Application Gateway with Web Application Firewall (WAF).
• Deploy and support Azure Virtual Desktop environments with FSLogix profile containers.
• Secure Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environments using advanced Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Defender for Endpoint, Intune, and Microsoft Purview.
• Deploy and administer SQL Server on Azure VMs, including data, log, and tempdb disk configuration, memory and MAXDOP settings, maintenance plans, and performance troubleshooting.
• Configure and support IIS web servers on Azure VMs, including application pools, bindings, session state, URL Rewrite, logging, configuration files, and application dependencies.
• Support Windows Server infrastructure and business-critical applications.
• Administer VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization environments.
• Configure and maintain VPNs, firewalls, virtual networks, load balancers, and related infrastructure.
• Lead cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, and system improvement projects.
• Respond to incidents, outages, and escalated technical issues.
• Develop automation and operational efficiencies using PowerShell and related tools.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and procedures.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers and teammates.

• 10+ years supporting Microsoft infrastructure in production environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, and VMware and/or Hyper-V.
• 5+ years supporting Microsoft Azure environments.
• 5+ years administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, VPNs, routing, and firewalls.
• Experience supporting mission-critical systems requiring high availability and reliability.
• Excellent troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Experience working directly with customers and stakeholders.

• MS-102 Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
• Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform or similar)
• Advanced Entra ID security experience, including Conditional Access and PIM

• Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and FSLogix experience
• PowerShell automation experience
• Disaster recovery and business continuity planning experience
• Managed services experience
• Experience supporting SaaS, payroll/HCM, professional services, or public safety environments

• Salary: $125,000 – $155,000, depending on experience and certifications
