Clinical Business Analyst, SeniorThe purpose of this position is to analyze business problems, identify gaps, and provide technical support in areas around moderately complex information systems under moderate supervision. This role oversees several requirements throughout the project life cycle and requires a strong understanding of applicable business systems, industry requirements, and requirements definition.Key responsibilities include:Functioning as an individual contributor and working under moderate supervision with clearly defined guidelines and directionDeveloping documentation related to moderately complex projects and information systemsApplying business analysis knowledge to review and analyze systems problems to identify solutionsSupporting the team to develop detailed documentation of business requirements and system(s) functionality - use cases, workflow diagrams, and gap analysis to create or modify requirements documents and design specificationsAnalyzing user requirements and client business needs using standard proceduresIdentifying and managing scope of changes based on client requirementsSupporting testing, user acceptance testing, and implementation of information systemsEnsuring bi-directional traceability of requirementsTracking and reporting status of work assignments and escalating issues and risks to senior management as requiredEngaging in solutions development to existing business process problemsDemonstrating strong knowledge of Business Analysis methodologies, best practices, and procedures; and applying them to projects to ensure that business analysis objectives are achievedParticipating in requirements management and design session activitiesActing as a liaison between the client and the technology teamsPossessing an unwavering commitment to customer service and operational excellenceProviding customer support in assisting with the presentation of demos to the client (including facilitating presentations and assisting in presenting small components of the demo)Keeping abreast of new technology and market developments (including federal regulations)Requesting and giving both negative and positive feedbackSupporting technical and business analysis mentoring of Associate Business AnalystsReading, understanding, and adhering to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security RulesRequired qualifications include:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
