Senior Client Non-Stop DeveloperWe are seeking a Senior Client Non-Stop Developer to lead the design, development, and enhancement of mission-critical applications on HPE Non-Stop systems. This role supports real-time train control and dispatching systems, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and regulatory compliance.The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Non-Stop development, performance tuning, and secure coding practices, and will collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions for a 24/7 operational environment.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop fault-tolerant applications using TAL, C, or C++ on HPE Non-Stop platforms.Build and support real-time train control and dispatching software.Develop and optimize database solutions using NonStop SQL/MX and SQL/MP.Integrate applications with Enscribe file systems and Pathway server classes.Analyze and improve system performance and responsiveness.Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure continuous availability.Participate in structured change management and release planning.Create and maintain technical documentation and deployment guides.Implement secure coding practices and support audit-readiness.Collaborate with QA, operations, and infrastructure teams.Support modernization efforts through hybrid integration models (REST APIs, NSHTTP, iTP WebServer).Deliverables:24x7 system availability and supportSource code, executables, and automation scriptsTechnical design documents and deployment manualsRelease notes and rollback proceduresTest cases and performance reportsRoot cause analyses for escalated incidentsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field7+ years of hands-on development experience on HPE NonStop (Tandem) platformsProficiency in TAL, C, or C++ for high-performance, fault-tolerant systemsExpertise in NonStop SQL/MX and SQL/MPExperience with Enscribe file structures and Pathway server integrationStrong skills in performance tuning and incident resolutionFamiliarity with structured change management and secure development practicesExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsPreferred Qualifications:HPE NonStop technical certification10+ years of NonStop development experienceExperience in transportation, logistics, or dispatching systemsExposure to hybrid integration models (REST APIs, iTPWebServer, NSHTTP)
