Job TitleCarollo Engineers is a leading engineering firm dedicated exclusively to water.ResponsibilitiesWork on projects related to municipal water and wastewater treatment plants, including but not limited to major treatment plant expansions, regional water quality studies, and critical water reuse projects that will create sustainable and resilient water supplies for the worldPerforms engineering work in various engineering fields within the Environmental Practice for Water and Wastewater Treatment and Infrastructure Practice such as pipelines, pump stations and reservoirsWorks on engineering designs, prepare reports, develop plans, prepare specifications, and cost estimates for various water and wastewater infrastructure projects, permitting and alternative analysisPrepares technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables; data entry and analysis, and working through the construction phase on the projectsPlans, schedules, and conducts engineering work on projects of medium to large sizes of moderately complex natureResponsible for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to civil/environmental engineering fieldResponsible for budget, schedule, contractual obligations and quality standardsResponsible for training and monitoring internal staffResponsible for acting independently and making authoritative decisions on technical mattersDevelops significant relationships with new and existing clients and has responsibility for client maintenanceSupports firm's relationships with client management personnelActive in professional associations, including attendance and participation in local, regional, and national conventionsTravel required when requestedQualificationsBachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering10-15 years of wastewater design experience in the field of environmental consulting engineering with an emphasis in hydraulics, physical, chemical, and biological treatment processes and treatment plant designRegistration as a Professional EngineerMust have demonstrated experience with managing and designing medium sized projects with full responsibility for budget, schedule, contractual obligations and quality standardsExperience designing wastewater treatment plants, including development of conceptual/preliminary designs and detailed design document preparationAbility to communicate effectively with clients and project teamDeliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraintsExperience working with wastewater collection systems and water and reclaimed water transmission/distribution projectsProficient in MS Word and ExcelPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in civil or environmental engineeringCompensation Range$106,056 to $177,650 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
