Responsibilities
- Prepare technical and cost proposals.
- Design basic municipal infrastructure projects such as site development plans, earthwork, and contouring; sanitary sewers; stormwater systems; drainage plans.
- Prepare permit applications.
- Prepare design packages and assist with preparing construction bid documents, reviewing submittals, and preparing cost estimates.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and scope of work in a team atmosphere and mentor junior staff.
- Provide QA/QC on project deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Civil or Environmental Engineering (desired).
- Must hold current state license or be willing to obtain.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a positive attitude.
- Attention to detail, time management, and organization.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- AutoCAD and/or MicroStation competency.
- Experience with site grading, site design and associated permitting.
- HEC‑RAS, HydroCAD or other water resource‑related program experience.
- Fluent with Microsoft Word and Excel.
