We are seeking a seasoned Senior Civil Engineer to join our thriving engineering group in San Diego, CA. This role offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement.

Core Duties

• Spearhead the full lifecycle of land development initiatives, guiding projects from initial vision to final construction.
• Coordinate various concurrent projects to ensure they are completed on schedule and within financial constraints.
• Execute complex technical civil designs, such as earthwork planning, mapping, and hydrologic analysis, to ensure project accuracy.
• Provide guidance to junior team members while facilitating collaboration across different technical disciplines.
• Engage directly with stakeholders to clarify project goals and build lasting professional partnerships.

Required Credentials

• Hold a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Possess a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license, with a preference for California licensure.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 12 years of professional experience within the land development sector.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D effectively, with additional value placed on familiarity with San Diego County stormwater regulations.
• Communicate clearly and effectively to help balance competing project demands and deadlines.
