As a Senior CEI Project Engineer, you'll lead a multi-disciplinary team of QA/QC team members to create QC programs while training and mentoring staff and delivering and assigning team tasks daily. This is a senior level position overseeing higher level inspectors and engineers in functional areas such as construction inspection and surveying; scheduling and status; roadway design; traffic signal equipment; traffic signalization and geometrics; materials sampling; inspection and testing.
Involves significant amount of decision making and use of judgment and includes providing work direction to others.Here's what you'll need- Bachelors in Civil, Civil Engineering Technology or Construction Management (4 year degree) or Civil Engineering Technology or Construction Management (2 year degree) with ten (10) years of progressive technical experience.- PE license in the state of Florida- Six (6) years of major road or bridge construction experience- Direct highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection program.- Attend the CTQP Quality Control Manager course and pass the examination- FDOT Advanced MOT- Ability to demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required- Demonstrated knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment used in highway construction; and considerable knowledge of mathematical functions, including algebra, geometry and trigonometry related to highway/transportation engineering.- Valid Driver's LicenseThe base salary range for this position is $175,000.00 to $210,000.00.
