Senior Casualty Claims Specialist

Managing a large inventory of claims, the full-time Senior Casualty Claims Specialist will evaluate compensability and liability, conduct investigations, and negotiate settlements while working remotely. Key responsibilities Evaluate compensability and liability for a large inventory of claims Plan and conduct claim investigations to confirm coverage and determine damages Negotiate appropriate claim settlements and authorize payments within prescribed authority Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management and Insurance, Political Science, Pre-law, Paralegal, or a related field, or equivalent experience 3-6 years of experience in property and casualty claims handling Completion of or progress toward a professional designation, such as Associate in Claims (AIC), preferred Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and claims handling procedures Strong analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
