Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.In the role of Senior Cadd Technician, we'll count on you to:Work within the site civil discipline, with minimal direction from the Engineer or other technical professionalBe responsible for the civil design plans and models for multiple projects within the departmentTo be skilled with AutoCAD and Civil3D to produce the designs identified in the Digital Delivery requirementsProduce design documents that follow company and/or client CADD design standardsHave an advanced understanding of architectural/engineering documentation, plan presentation for the specific discipline design, and how it interacts with other discipline modelsAccurately model civil BIM elements in the correct special constraints of the modeling environment, using AutoDesk Civil3DPrepare detailed drawings, layouts, & diagrams of the design within the project scope, schedule, and budgetMaintain the civil discipline model including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match-lines, views, and sheetsMonitor, improve, and maintain company standards. Coordinate the design with other discipline models through Design Reviews and 3D Coordination processesExecute all Digital Delivery requirements identified on the projectPreferred Qualifications:Proficient in AutoDesk AutoCAD and Civil3D softwareExperience with large land development projectsKeywords: AutoDesk AutoCAD, AutoDesk Civil 3D, Civil3D, BIM (Building Information Modeling), Civil BIM Modeling, Digital Delivery, 3D Design Software, 3D Coordination Tools, Document Management Systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)Required Qualifications:Technical degree or a combination of education and related industry experienceA minimum of 5 years related industry experienceAdvanced skillset of 3D design software and document management infrastructureAdvanced skillset of 3D Coordination toolCompetency of Microsoft Office products and communication toolsAdvanced understanding of engineering or architectural conceptsKnowledge of industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specificationsExcellent communication skills, attention to detail and organizational traits are essentialHDR is committed to the principles of employment equity.
