Senior Business Systems AnalystDHCF is looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, focusing on complex projects to analyze business needs, design innovative systems solutions, and drive process improvements. This role often involves leadership, mentorship, and a high degree of autonomy in managing large, cross-functional projects.Must-Have SkillsProficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), process modeling tools (e.g., Visio) – 5+ yearsWorking knowledge of SQL – 5+ yearsExperience as a business systems analyst or in a similar role, with demonstrated success in managing complex projects – 11+ yearsExperience with development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum) – 11+ yearsBachelor's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)Must have experience level to qualify for a Senior Level STaR2 categoryKey ResponsibilitiesRequirements Gathering & Analysis:Lead workshops and conduct in-depth interviews with stakeholders across various departments to understand, document, and prioritize complex business requirements and objectivesSolution Design & Development Support:Translate high-level business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and technical requirements for development teamsCollaborate with solution architects and developers to design and build effective, scalable solutionsProject and Process Management:Assist project lead on moderate to large projects, planning and monitoring timelines, budgets, and resourcesAssist continuous improvement by analyzing existing business processes and identifying opportunities for optimization and automationDocumentation & Communication:Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including data flow diagrams, process maps, user manuals, and training materialsCommunicate complex information and project status effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior managementTesting & Quality Assurance:Assist the Quality Assurance team in designing and executing thorough test plans and scenarios as needed (e.g., UAT, performance testing) to ensure solutions are accurate, reliable, and compliant with requirements and quality standardsSupport & Training:Provide ongoing support for implemented systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and conduct user training sessions to ensure user adoption and proficiency as neededVendor Management:Interface with external vendors and manage their activities, including evaluating vendor submissions and ensuring vendor solutions align with business needsQualifications SummaryEducation: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is typically requiredTechnical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), process modeling tools (e.g., Visio), working knowledge of SQL, and experience with development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum) and relevant platforms (e.g., Jira, MS Office, Salesforce) are highly valuedSoft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills are essential. Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are necessary for effective stakeholder collaboration and team guidancePreferred CertificationsIIBA CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)
