Role & responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities with US commercial and federal clients.
- Build andmaintainrelationships with federal agencies, prime contractors, and commercial customers.
- Generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, networking, LinkedIn, and other business development activities.
- Understand client requirements and collaborate with internal recruiting and delivery teams to provide suitable solutions.
- Develop and execute account growth strategies to achieve revenue and sales targets.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and provideaccuratesales forecasts.
- Stay informed about US federal contracting trends, procurement processes, and market opportunities.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, capability statements, and responses to client requirements.
- Attend client meetings, industry events, and networking sessions as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6+years of experiencein Business Development, preferably in IT staffing or technology services.
- Hands-on experience working with US clients.
- understanding of theUS Federal market, including federal agencies, prime vendors, procurement processes, and contract vehicles.
- Strong lead generation, account management, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiencywith CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
- Ability to work independently in a target-driven environment.
