Position Summary
The Senior Business Development Associate (Healthcare – Private Equity) increases the deal flow into the firm while raising brand awareness for the private equity-focused healthcare reimbursement and regulatory due diligence products. This role partners with investors, investment bankers, lenders, and other financial sponsors to cultivate relationships, generate new opportunities, and support revenue growth.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Source leads and convert prospects into clients to drive revenue growth.
- Maintain and expand business within existing client relationships.
- Manage inbound opportunities from initial contact through intake.
- Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting to private equity funds and healthcare organizations.
- Increase deal flow within current private equity and healthcare client accounts.
- Develop new relationships across private equity firms and healthcare companies.
- Initiate and strengthen client relationships to support long-term engagement.
- Coordinate with appropriate partners and stakeholders at parent law firm on client requests and deliverables.
- Travel frequently to investor conferences and targeted marketing trips to generate and cultivate business opportunities.
Job Specifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least three (3) years of experience with sales, business development, or account management.
- Knowledge of Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Strong verbal and written communication, including coordinating outreach and conducting meetings.
- Exceptional time management and organization skills, as well as timely client follow‑up.
- Ability to manage firm client engagement and conflict check tracking software.
- Strong teamwork skills and consideration of research colleagues’ time resources and existing client commitments.
- Respond promptly to inquiries and follow through on internal and external communications.
- Meet revenue targets, quotas, and performance metrics.
- Organize, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities under tight deadlines.
- Coordinate with other firm team members to optimize the sales effort.
- Generate new business and increase deal flow within target markets.
- Develop and sustain relationships with clients and prospects.
- Handle confidential information with discretion.
- Demonstrate consistently positive attitude, reliability, work ethic, and desire to be challenged.
Compensation and Benefits
Target hiring range: $110,000 – $125,000 base salary plus commission. Full‑time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
