Senior Business Analyst

• Project Management for internal systems and processes.
• Perform underwriting, operational, and financial analysis utilizing internal and external data sources.
• Utilize SQL to develop data exports for internal and external users.
• Develop intuitive visualizations for executive audiences to monitor key performance metrics.
• Advise business leaders based on analysis findings.

Required Job Qualifications:

• 10 plus years of experience
• SQL programming experience – 3 plus years
• Experience in querying database systems, MS Access, MS Excel, and other reporting systems.
• Verbal and written communication skills including interpersonal skills.
• Experience collecting and communication business requirements – 3 plus years.
• Insurance background is required.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• Finance, Mathematics, or Computer Science path of study.
• Direct report experience with business analyst resources.
• Experience with Salesforce.
• Experience with IMS (Insurance Management System)
• Experience with Visual Basic for Applications.
• Experience with insurance catastrophe modelling.
• Verisk AIR Software experience.

• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as directed by the Manager of the Company.
• For this position, the candidate must have 10 plus years of experience, and insurance background is required.

Reporting Relationship:

• Position reports to the VP, Business Systems, or as otherwise determined by the Company.

Pay Range: $120K–$140K

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
