Responsibilities:Integrate datasets tracking healthcare billing and payment, medical reviews, and related operationsConstruct summaries and analyses for monitoring healthcare payments and evaluating medical review activitiesContribute statistical expertise to research questions related to federal healthcare policies and paymentsCollaborate with a multi-skilled team of analysts and policy experts on project-based workRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in an analytical field, such as statistics, mathematics, economics, or epidemiology, or similar academic experience2+ years in data analysis or statistics, or master's degree in statistics or a related fieldProficiency in statistical theory related to statistical sampling, estimation, and hypothesis testingProficiency in ExcelProficiency in programming for data analysis in a language such as Python, R, SAS, or STATAPreferred Qualifications:2+ years in data analysis related to MedicareExperience applying statistical sampling, estimation, and hypothesis testing (academic research projects considered)Data analysis proficiency in PythonQuerying proficiency in SQLOther Requirements:Eligibility for federal background checks, including residence in the United States for at least 3 years out of the past 5 years
