This is non negotiable.The NYSDOH Bureau of Surveillance and Data Systems maintains and enhances mission-critical systems used to monitor over 75 reportable diseases and public health emergencies:Electronic Clinical Laboratory Reporting System (ECLRS)Communicable Disease Electronic Surveillance System (CDESS)Electronic Syndromic Surveillance System (ESSS)Two Senior Business Analysts are needed to support data exchange and data quality efforts for NYSIIS (New York State Immunization Information System), with a focus on:Onboarding providers to the New York State Implementation Guide for HL7 v2.5.1 Immunization MessagesVerifying compliance with ONC Meaningful Use requirementsEnhancing interoperability between NYSIIS and electronic health record (EHR) systems used by providers across New York StateMaintaining and updating ACCESS programsResponsibilities:Analyze and interpret HL7 immunization message dataPerform data quality reviews and validation of immunization messagesProvide technical guidance and onboarding support to provider organizationsMaintain and enhance ACCESS programs for data reportingWork with SQL queries using SQL TOAD for data analysis and reportingEnsure compliance with ONC Meaningful Use standardsSupport interoperability efforts between NYSIIS and external EHR systemsCommunicate regularly with healthcare providers to support onboarding and troubleshootingMandatory Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or related field from an accredited institution ?
