Business Analyst 3 (Contract)

Overview

Our client is seeking a highly capable Business Analyst to support and optimize the Talent Acquisition technology ecosystem, with a primary focus on Workday Recruiting. This role goes beyond traditional requirements gathering and testing and will act as a strategic partner to Talent Acquisition Operations to drive system integrity, scalability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery and design sessions to translate business needs into actionable requirements
  • Perform impact analysis across Workday Recruiting and downstream integrations to ensure scalable solutions and minimize risk
  • Lead the end-to-end testing lifecycle including test strategy, plans, scenarios, scripts, and defect management
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Operations to support and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Perform basic configuration within Workday Recruiting including:
    • Business process modifications
    • Notifications and alerts
    • Questionnaires
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort

Qualifications

  • Strong experience with Workday Recruiting testing required
  • Basic experience with Workday Recruiting configuration required
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end recruiting processes and workflows
  • Experience with QA/UAT methodologies and defect management
  • Ability to perform system impact analysis across integrations and downstream processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and influence cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language
  • Experience working with HR systems, integrations, and SaaS platforms
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve productivity, documentation, and analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 to 8+ years of experience in HRIS, HR Technology, or Business Systems Analysis roles

Compensation

  • Pay Rate: $55.00 to $57.39 per hour
