Senior Budget Analyst

Managing the annual budget for a software development Product Line supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs, the full-time Senior Budget Analyst will oversee budget planning, acquisition packages, and budget status reporting in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Manage budget and acquisition needs throughout all phases of the contracting and software development lifecycle Support VA customers in developing and executing their annual Budget Operating Plan, including multi-year budget estimates and acquisition strategies Prepare and validate budget status reports for monthly OMB IT Dashboard submissions Required qualifications Experience in Federal budget and acquisitions, including knowledge of applicable FAR policies Experience working as a federal contractor or federal employee Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies Experience as a consultant, managing and supporting government clients and stakeholders Ability to schedule and facilitate executive-level virtual meetings effectively
