We're seeking a talented and detail-oriented Senior BIM Technician to support our design team by producing high-quality structural models and drawings using Autodesk Revit.
Position Overview
As a Senior BIM Technician, you will work closely with structural engineers to create accurate 3D models and construction documents. You will play a key role in ensuring coordination, precision, and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for structural systems using Revit.
* Produce construction documents, including plans, sections, and details.
* Coordinate BIM models with architectural and MEP models.
* Assist engineers with design changes and incorporate markups.
* Ensure models and drawings comply with company standards and project requirements.
* Participate in project coordination meetings and clash detection reviews.
* Support ongoing development and maintenance of BIM standards and templates.
Qualifications
Required:
* Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
* 5 years minimum experience working in a structural engineering or architecture firm.
* Familiarity with structural systems and construction practices.
* Strong attention to detail and organization.
* Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
* Physical requirements: Employee is required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
Preferred:
* Experience with BIM Collaborate Pro/BIM 360.
* Knowledge of Navisworks, Bluebeam, or other coordination tools.
* Experience with steel, concrete, and wood structures.
