Leading the design of advanced building automation systems, the full-time Senior BAS Controls Designer will create innovative DDC control systems for HVAC and lighting while driving process improvements and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fully remote capacity. Key responsibilities: Lead the design and development of comprehensive DDC control systems, ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards Analyze and refine engineering processes to enhance efficiency and maintain design consistency across projects Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members while coordinating with stakeholders for seamless project execution Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience Minimum of 7 years of experience in designing DDC control systems with a proven track record of successful project leadership Proficiency in building automation protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks) and system integration Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical wiring, and relevant building codes Expertise in CAD software and controls design tools, with experience in process improvement methodologies preferred
