Senior Backend Engineer, Distributed Systems for Power Grid

Base is building BaseOS, the operating system for a modern power company. As a senior, staff, or principal engineer on this team, you will define how the system works, make architectural calls, and own end-to-end critical services powering thousands of distributed batteries and real-world deployments.

You will operate with minimal oversight on high-stakes problems, write in Go/Python, work across backend systems and infrastructure, and mentor other engineers while shaping the technical direction
