Collaborate with a flexible team of engineers to build flawless tools and systems that support our colleagues in performing at their best.This is an onsite position in the San Jose office.What You'll DoDevelop and maintain backend systems that interact with cloud providers (Azure, AWS and GCP) and various internal and external services.Lead and contribute to Agile development processes, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.Collaborate with a team of 25 engineers across multiple time zones to craft, build, and optimize internal-facing tools.Implement and improve APIs, ensuring they meet robust performance and security standards.Apply your expertise in Java and cloud development to solve complex problems and build scalable solutions.Mentor and guide junior engineers, encouraging a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.Apply DevOps practices to improve the deployment and monitoring of our systems, ensuring their smooth and efficient operation.What You Need to SucceedBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, 5-10 years experience, or equivalent.Proven expertise in Java development.Extensive experience with cloud APIs, e.g., AWS or Azure Java SDK, to build and manage complete applications.Extensive DevOps experience, with a detailed understanding of deployment and monitoring methods for cloud-native software.A proactive approach—you take initiative, anticipate challenges, and don't wait to be told what to do.AI-first development experience.What Will Help You Stand Out From the CrowdExperience with Chef, API development, and Python development.Experience building and deploying microservices using tools like Docker and Kubernetes.Outstanding problem-solving skills and a proven ability to successfully implement ambitious projects.Front-end development experience and familiarity with Adobe AEM.Follow Agile methodologies and collaborate effectively within a diverse and distributed team.Excellent communication skills, with a determination to drive projects to successful completion.Expected Pay Range:Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S.
geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $139,000 -- $257,550 annually.
